He Graduated from Ensci-Les Ateliers in Paris with honors in 2016 and he trained at Ransmeier Inc. and Jasper Morrison Ltd.
He founded his studio in 2018 in which he develops products and furniture. He looks for shapes that meet harmoniously the different constraints of the projects and attempts to design objects that have a discreet but benevolent presence.
Besides his design practise, Goupil has always been interested in design research. In that sense, he co-founded Collections Typologie, a studio that explores ordinary things through publishing books and curating exhibitions.
Goupil shares and reflects the knowledge of those different experiences through giving lectures or workshops in different schools and institutions among which the Vitra Design Museum, le Corbusier’s Cité Radieuse, Fotokino’s festival Lanterna Magica, The HEAR ( Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin ) of Mulhouse, Ensci-Les Ateliers in Paris or the Liceo Artistico of Monza.
